Immersion Is The Future!

Immersion cooling involves submerging Bitcoin miners in a non-conductive fluid. Though counterintuitive to submerge in a clear, dielectric fluid – fluid is much more effective at dissipating heat than air (roughly 1600x more effective).

 

Many large data centers have already moved or are seriously considering the move to immersion cooling for a number of reasons:

LESS CAPEX (MACHINES) TO ACHIEVE THE SAME OUTPUT
As a result of producing more hash, each machine will proportionally consume more electricity without sacrificing the machines watt per terahash efficiency (W/TH), which means less machines (~35%) are required to obtain the same hashrate.

In immersion, machines operate in a 100% controlled environment with no dust, no temperature of humidity fluctuations, no impurities. We see the same hash rate per machine day in and day out (within .1 TH), regardless of what outside conditions may be. We estimate this oto result in a significant machine lifespan increase upwards of 50%.


SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE MACHINE MAINTENANCE
When operating machines in air, it’s nearly impossible to prevent temperature and humidity swings, as well as dust and air impurities from affecting machines. Over years of operating, this exposure results in increased overhead/maintenance and machine failures.


ELIMINATE HVAC & AIR COOLING OVERHEAD
With immersion, fans and expensive HVAC systems are no longer required for machines to keep machines operating within a certain temperature range, which means the energy and capital spent powering the fans and HVAC can now be diverted to computing (more hash power, less overhead).

High efficiency heat exchanger: capacity designs for maximizing the heat transfer relative to the energy consumption of the fan. Tube and tube coupling design for low pressure drop in the coil on the media sides(maximum 100KPa at water designing condition). Fan: only choose low specific energy consumption fans. Fan nozzle designs for maximum air flow and air throw.Our fans from the world`s leading manufacturer are practically proved to be reliable in operation and long lasting. Motor: protection class IP 54 and insulation class F. Air separator for each fan.
We facilitate you to have a long lasting and low maintainance operation. Durable material and rigid enclosure with hard gloss powder coated finish. Protective enclosure for both manifolds and U-bends. Unit design for outdoor installation. 100% leakage tested at 31bar.
